Under the bright blue skies of Northern Alberta, Indigenous singer-songwriter Brad Sims is where you will find him. Brad is well known for his soulful voice, big Stetson, and charitable heart. His love for country music began early when he first attended a Bud Country Festival in his hometown. As a determined young lad, he was destined to immerse himself in country music and perform on large stages. He placed at the Nashville Rising Star contest early on during the Calgary Stampede. This further instilled his drive to pursue a career in country music.

Brad's music has transcended geographical boundaries, resonating with audiences worldwide. With a full-length album and three singles, he has amassed over half a million global streams, a testament to the power of his music. His talent has been recognized worldwide, with his music featured on the prestigious Sirius XM Top of the County. This international acclaim is further underscored by his multiple Country Music Alberta nominations. “It is an honour to be recognized by one’s peers. Something that I don’t take for granted; it makes me work even harder on myself and my music” stated Sims. Sharing stages with renowned artists like Corb Lund, George Canyon, and the Road Hammers, he has set the stage for many successful performances, solidifying his position as a global country music sensation.

Brad is fortunate to pursue his passions for being on stage and hosting charitable events and his love for the outdoors, whether he's out on a lake, fishing (catching 32 fish in one day was a highlight), or hanging out with his fur baby.
Sims’s generous heart is not just a personal trait but a recognized symbol of hope and support, especially within the Metis community. In 2015, he was honoured and given the Ceremonial Sash from the Metis Association of Alberta (Local 1990), a testament to his deep connection and unwavering commitment to his cultural heritage. His charitable work is a beacon of inspiration, showing us all the power of giving back and staying connected to our roots.
